The Associated Builders and Contractors/Western Michigan Chapter and Clays For Kids Foundation worked in tandem to raise $25,000 to support the Down Syndrome Association of West Michigan. The funds were raised through the foundation’s annual charity sporting clay shoot, held this year at Kent County Conservation League. This is the third year in a row ABC West Michigan and CFK have teamed to support CFK’s mission.

Family Promise of Grand Rapids has moved to 516 Cherry St. SE. The first floor houses its day center, craft/dining area, play area, respite room, laundry, kitchen, learning lab, reception area and case manager offices. The second floor includes the volunteer area, conference areas and additional offices. The new location is part of a $2 million capital campaign.

Todd Wenzel Automotive Group announced the acquisition of its fourth Michigan GM dealership, Red Holman Buick GMC in Westland. This purchase represents the third Buick GMC dealership for Wenzel. The first, in Grand Rapids, was obtained in 2001, followed by a Chevrolet franchise in Hudsonville in 2004, and a second Buick GMC dealership in Davison in 2014.
