Change Ups: Culinary team savors silver medal


A five-person team from Baker College of Muskegon’s Culinary Institute of Michigan won a silver medal at the Michigan 2015 American Culinary Federation Student Team State Competition, marking the fourth consecutive year a CIM team has medaled. The ACF West Michigan Lakeshore Chapter is one of 200 chapters of ACF.

The Baker College teacher preparation program has earned national accreditation for five years from the Council for the Accreditation of Educator Preparation. The program allows students to receive a Michigan provisional teaching certificate for select subjects.
