Ferris State University and Kendall College of Art and Design have renamed the historic Federal Building the Woodbridge N. Ferris Building. Ferris President Dr. David Eisler said the new name is in honor of the former Michigan governor, U.S. senator and founder of FSU. The building was the Grand Rapids Art Museum until the museum’s relocation in 2007. FSU redeveloped the building to provide additional space for Kendall College.
