Nemschoff’s and Herman Miller Healthcare’s Palisade Collection has earned Interior Design Magazine’s Best of Year Award in the Healthcare Furniture category. The collection encourages guest participation in the healing process by creating an accommodating and responsive setting within the patient room. It is also designed for use in other areas within health systems, such as lounges, waiting rooms and public spaces.

Andrews Hooper Pavlik PLC announced the merger of the Owosso office of Demis & Wenzlick PC into AHP. Twenty-one people will be added to AHP’s current staff of more than 100. MINDSCAPE at Hanon McKendry announced the firm has re-branded as MINDSCAPE and will continue to be led by co-founders Pete Brand, CEO, and Paul Ferrier, CSO. The Hispanic Center of Western Michigan announced Roberto Torres has been selected as its executive director. Torres recently served as CEO of T&R Group LLC, a business consultancy focused on economic growth in the Northern Ohio region, on whose behalf he served as executive director of the Northwest Ohio Hispanic Chamber of Commerce.

Rua Associates LLC announced the successful sale of West Michigan-based residential cleaning business Cascade Fresh Cleaning, which was acquired by local individuals. Cascade Fresh Cleaning is the largest independently and locally owned residential cleaning business in West Michigan.

CONSTRUCTION

Triangle Associates Inc. has appointed Jack R. Wallen project manager and Lisa C. Boidy executive administrator. Wallen’s responsibilities include the coordination of pre-construction activities, management of construction services and contracts, and the oversight of project schedules. Boidy will provide technical and administrative assistance to the chairman of the board/CEO, president, senior vice president and vice president of business development.
