A local accounting firm has appointed two of its employees to the position of shareholder.
Hungerford Nichols CPAs & Advisors said last month Brett Karhoff and Aaron Sal have been elected to the roles.
“The addition of Brett and Aaron to our shareholder group aligns well with our mission, vision and values, and we are excited to have them as part of the leadership team,” said Rick Chrisman, managing shareholder, Hungerford Nichols.
The firm has locations in Grand Rapids and Greenville.
Karhoff has been with Hungerford Nichols for six years and manages the firm’s tax department.
In his 22-year career, Karhoff has worked with a broad range of industries, including manufacturing, real estate, entertainment, media, retail, nonprofit and professional services.

“Brett has been an excellent addition to our tax team, bringing with him a wealth of knowledge and experience,” said Peggy Murphy, shareholder, Hungerford Nichols.
