An AMC talent show reality series will premiere Thursday — with the first episode set in Holland.

Holland is one of eight communities across the country where talent will be scouted for the cable channel's "Showville."

The series organizes competitions in each community, featuring local talent.

Other settings include Athens, Ohio, Walla Walla, Wash. and Mount Airy, N.C.

Actor Alec Mapa and choreographer Lisette Bustamante are the show's performance coaches, working with the finalists each week to prep them for their performances in front of live, local audiences.

"Showville" hosts open-call auditions for singers, dancers, comedy acts, jugglers and more, offering them a chance to be seen on TV and win $10,000 in prize money.
