Amway has hired a new global chief marketing officer with 20 years of experience in marketing.
Su-Jung Bae, who is originally from South Korea, comes from the company’s Asia Pacific Region, according to an Amway blog post last week.
Amway said Bae is “excited to bring that experience to the global level.”
Bae will lead the global strategy and execution of category marketing for nutrition, beauty and home brands from Amway’s global headquarters in Ada.
She will also lead the teams for the Amway brand, corporate social responsibility and public relations.
During her time at Amway Korea, Bae and her team worked to refresh the Amway brand and share interesting brand stories for Amway business owners, or ABOs, to use while building their business.
Bae has formed close relationship with Korean ABOs and hopes to build new relationships with ABOs across the world.
“I’ll miss the close relationship I had with Korean ABOs,” Bae said. “I was often moved by their undying passion for the business. But I look forward to supporting — and getting to know — ABOs from across the world to help them build their businesses.”
