A local architecture firm is broadening its presence in West Michigan.

Grand Rapids-based Progressive AE said today it opened an office in Holland, at 3 W. 8th St.

The new location will support the firm’s growing lakeshore business, while also expanding its “talent acquisition pool.”

“We’ve been actively working with lakeshore-based clients, particularly Holland, for many years,” said Brad Thomas, president and CEO, Progressive AE. “An office in this region is a logical step, as our business continues to grow along the lakeshore. We’re very excited to be a part of the Holland community and to support our clients with a more convenient office location.”

Progressive AE said it has worked with a number of noteworthy clients at the lakeshore: Holland Energy Park; Boys & Girls Club of Holland; Central Wesleyan Church; Gentex; West Michigan Regional Airport; Holland Hospital; City of Grand Haven; ROL ERGO; and Trendway.

The Holland office is Progressive AE’s fourth location.

The firm also has offices in Muskegon and Charlotte, North Carolina.
