ArtPrize is throwing a party downtown tonight to announce the 2013 winners of the world’s largest art competition.
ArtPrize will award $560,000 in prize money, including the coveted $200,000 grand prize.
Voting closed Thursday night at 11:59 p.m., and more than 440,000 votes were cast.
Awards party
The announcement party will be at City Garages 5 and 6, at 265 Market SW, starting at 7 p.m.
The night will feature musical performances by Lucas Wilson, with an after party DJ-ed by Mark Witz, and be MC-ed by Todd Herring, ArtPrize director of communications.
Several food trucks will be on-site: What The Truck, Righteous Cuisines, Pig Out Take Out, Spoonlickers and Woking Taco, as well as Founders’ official ArtPrize beer, the Inspired Artist Black IPA.
Tickets are $15 and available online.
Watch party
An ArtPrize Finale Watch Party is also being held at Rosa Parks Circle tonight, with a performance by Domestic Problems kicking off the evening at 5 p.m.
WOOD TV will broadcast the awards live on WOOD TV 8 and online at woodtv.com, from 7-9 p.m.

3rd Place: $50,000
4th to 10th Place: $5,000 each
Juried Grand Prize: $100,000
Juried Award for 2D Work: $20,000
Juried Award for 3D Work: $20,000
Juried Award for Time/Performance-Based Work: $20,000
Juried Award for Best Use of Urban Space: $20,000
Juried Award for Outstanding Venue: $20,000 (awarded to the curator of a venue, not an artist)
