A local real estate association has declared its Realtor of the Year.
Ingrid Nelson, a realtor with Keller Williams Realty, was named the 2017 Realtor of the Year by the Grand Rapids Township-based Greater Regional Alliance of Realtors, or GRAR, at its annual awards ceremony this winter.
Nelson has spent 17 years as a realtor with Keller Williams, and she recently completed a three-year term as a member of the GRAR Board of Directors.
Her past achievements include serving as former liaison for the National Association of Realtors to Belgium and Hungary, former chairperson of the international committee for GRAR and serving in the international departments of Herman Miller and Ernst & Young.
Nelson is also the VP of finance for the Swedish American Heritage Society, treasurer for Camp Blodgett’s fundraising guild and a member of the World Affairs Council of West Michigan.
She holds a B.A. from the University of Michigan and an M.B.A., with honors, from the American Graduate School of International Management.
