A new motorsports dealership has opened in the region.

Zeigler Motorsports opened earlier this spring in Kalamazoo, at 5001 Park Circle Dr., and features a taphouse restaurant and bar, according to Grand Rapids-based A.J. Veneklasen, which served as the project's contractor. Construction started last year.

“We are changing the way people experience Motorsports,” said Aaron Zeigler, president, Zeigler Motorsports. “This new location is more than just a dealership. It’s a destination and an entertainment complex.”

The facility sits on 50 acres and has an indoor waterfall and three indoor test tracks, as well as 400,000 square feet of storage and 24 service lanes.

The site is meant to be an attraction.

A.J. Veneklasen has partnered with Zeigler for “many projects” in the past, and the motorsports dealership was “by far, the most complex design,” said Chris Veneklasen, president, A.J. Veneklasen.

“We thoroughly enjoyed the challenging design, as well having a large part in the final outcome,” Veneklasen said.

The dealership carries Honda, Kawasaki, Suzuki, Ski Doo, Sea Doo, Can Am, Arctic Cat, KTM, E-Z-Go and Yamaha products.

Ziegler Automotive Group has 23 locations across the Midwest and New York.
