A supplier of engines, components and systems for the aviation industry is planning to expand a facility in the region.
GE Aviation is seeking site plan approval from the Norton Shores Planning Commission tomorrow night to expand its plant at 6120 Norton Center Dr.
The building spans 30,000 square feet, and the expansion would add 6,000 square feet.
GE Aviation could not be reached for comment prior to publication.
Cincinnati-based GE Aviation provides commercial, military and general aviation jet and turboprop engines and components, as well as avionics, electrical power and mechanical systems for aircraft.
