A bank donated $10,000 to local training programs for entrepreneurs.
Flagstar Foundation’s donation will support the Small Business Growth and Planning series led by Grand Rapids Opportunities for Women (GROW), the partners said.
GROW educates local entrepreneurs, 87% of which are women, at various stages through the Small Business Growth and Planning series. The planning series consists of three sessions with a specific focus each month to help clients define a business plan, increase their financial literacy and inform them of useful resources.
Each session is $60. Spots can be reserved online.
GROW launched 30 years ago as a platform for underserved women with plausible business ideas.
