A bank based on the state’s east side has hired a local vice president and commercial lender.
Patrick Fehring, president and CEO of Farmington Hills-based Level One Bank, said yesterday the bank hired Jason Williams for the role.
Williams will work out of Level One’s commercial banking division in Grand Rapids, at 2355 Burton St. SE.
“With the addition of Jason, we continue to expand our commercial lending division to better serve the Grand Rapids area,” Fehring said. “Jason brings a wealth of commercial lending experience to the team and strong ties to the community, and we look forward to his contributions.”
Williams said he is eager to take on the new role.
“I am excited to join a bank that embraces the entrepreneurial spirit and look forward to bringing this unique approach to the local business community,” Williams said.
Williams will be responsible for the development and maintenance of commercial banking relationships.
He brings more than 20 years of industry experience to the role and will primarily serve small and middle-market businesses in West Michigan.
Previously, Williams served as VP, commercial relationship manager at PNC. His main responsibilities were managing and growing client relationships, developing new individual and commercial relationships and providing financial solutions through client evaluation.
He holds a bachelor’s degree in finance from Michigan State University.
