A public accounting, technology and business advisory firm made 12 new hires since March 31, most recently appointing a leader for its new wealth management division.

Jeff Stevens, president of Lansing-based Maner Costerisan, which has an office in Cascade Township, said last week the firm made the hires across divisions, including the appointment of Michael Nordmann as principal and chief wealth officer over the firm’s new division, Maner Wealth.

“We feel fortunate to continue to add to our growing team and expand our robust service offerings despite the challenges of COVID-19,” Stevens said.

“Maner Wealth is an exciting initiative that allows the firm to elevate and expand our service offerings and create comprehensive, individualized financial strategies for our clients. Michael’s strong leadership skills, financial planning experience and passion for helping people reach their financial goals makes him the excellent choice to lead Maner Wealth.”

Prior to joining Maner Costerisan, Nordmann managed multimillion-dollar accounts as a personal CFO for nearly seven years at Morrison, Nordmann & Associates in East Lansing.

Nordmann earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration and finance from Spring Arbor University.

Maner Costerisan made 11 additional hires in various departments across the firm, including an investment in its association management services division with the hire of Emily Harris.

Harris will be responsible for expanding the reach and services of the firm’s association solutions business. She previously served as program and communication manager at ATHENA International. Harris is a member of the United Nations Women and is a United Nations Emerging Leaders Fellow. She earned a master’s degree in social work from North Carolina State University.

Julie Ross joined Maner Costerisan at the end of March as the firm’s first director of marketing. In this new role, she will be responsible for the development and implementation of a corporate marketing strategy to meet Maner’s strategic goals to drive, advise and grow. Ross previously was the content marketing manager at Jackson National Life and earned a bachelor’s degree in communications from Michigan State University.

“We continue to be committed to supporting our clients during this time of uncertainty and change,” Stevens said. “The addition of these talented and driven individuals will help us expand and enhance the level of support we can provide to our clients, especially important in today’s evolving business environment.”
