Mercantile Bank of Michigan is expanding its commercial lending presence across the state with the addition of several new team members.
The Grand Rapids-based bank said Monday, Nov. 22, it hired commercial lenders in Grand Rapids and Lansing and expanded its footprint by creating a northern Michigan commercial lending team.
Leading the expansion to the Traverse City/northern Michigan area are:
Aaron Davenport, vice president, commercial lender, who brings 34 years of commercial lending experience and market knowledge to his new role serving the Traverse City and northern Michigan markets.
Jason Schramski, vice president, commercial lender, who has 18 years of commercial lending knowledge and expertise.
Bringing additional talent to the Grand Rapids/Lansing area are:
Mike Bishop, senior vice president, commercial lender, a 22-year veteran of the commercial banking world, who will function as a team leader based in Grand Rapids and will work to further develop client relationships.
Brian Campbell, first vice president, commercial lender, who brings 22 years of banking experience with a concentration in commercial real estate to his new role at Mercantile Bank in Grand Rapids.
Steve Bosscher, first vice president, commercial lender, who brings 15 years of experience and market knowledge to this role after serving most recently as commercial real estate relationship manager. He is based out of Grand Rapids.
Greg Adkins, first vice president, commercial lender, who brings 21 years of lending experience. He will help enhance the bank’s business relations in the mid-Michigan market, based out of Lansing.
