The Eastown neighborhood will host its annual Bizarre Bazaar festival on Saturday, June 22.

The event, which is organized by the Eastown Community Association and the Eastown Business Association, features many of the area’s leading artists and crafts persons and highlights some of the best singer-songwriters in the region.

Wealthy Street will be closed to traffic from Atlas to Lake Drive, and 50 leading artists, potters, sculptors, jewelry makers, hand bag and clothing designers, and other crafts persons will take over the street with colorful booths, selling their wares to the thousands who traditionally flock to the event.

To participate, 50 percent of the vendor’s goods must be handmade.

Booths will be open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. along Wealthy Street.
