A brewery is ready to start filling 150 positions for its new location in town.
New Holland Brewing Co.’s Grand Rapids location, The Knickerbocker brewpub and distillery, will host five job fairs, starting with one in Grand Rapids on June 29 for management and kitchen staff. The event will be at The ROC Room, at 601 First St. NW, from 6-9 p.m.
The opening of the 40,000-square-foot facility is expected to be in September. It will be located in the 400th block of Bridge Street NW at Broadway Avenue NW.
Candidates are asked by New Holland leadership to bring updated resumes.
Currently, New Holland also plans to host additional job fairs at The ROC Room on July 11, from 9 a.m. to noon, and July 22, from 3-6 p.m.
New Holland’s Grand Rapids location will feature an “adventurous, farm-fresh menu” and craft beer and spirits.
The “modern” space will feature a beer garden, formal and causal dining spaces, cocktail lounge and community rental space.
The size of the space will allow New Holland to house an on-site brewery, distillery and full-service kitchen, including a butchery and to-go food.
