A local brewery is hosting its annual festival in the street tomorrow.

Brewery Vivant's fourth-annual Wood-Aged Beer Fest will be held, from 1-8 p.m., in front of the brewery on a closed section of Cherry Street SE in Grand Rapids’ East Hills neighborhood.

In the past, the festival, which has drawn about 2,500 people, has been held in the brewery’s beer garden and parking lot.

“The growth of this festival speaks to West Michigan's beer palate, being able to appreciate these wood-aged beers," said Jason Spaulding, owner, Brewery Vivant.

Brews

The festival will showcase more than 20 beers from Brewery Vivant. The beers have spent time in bourbon barrels, wine barrels or been oak aged: Whiskey Rooster, a bourbon barrel, Belgo-American red ale; Cemetarian, an oak aged, Belgian-inspired dark ale with coffee beans and vanilla; Devastation, a bourbon-barrel-aged version of the brewery’s Tree Bucket, a Belgian-inspired double IPA; and more.

Tickets

Tickets are $12 and can be purchased online.
