The Grand Rapids Business Journal will honor 40 of the region’s top young professionals this month.
The publication’s annual 40 Under 40 party will be held from 5-8 p.m. on Oct. 17 at 20 Monroe Live in downtown Grand Rapids.
Each year since 2002, the awards recognize 40 young professionals making a difference in West Michigan through business success, entrepreneurial leadership and community service.
The keynote speaker at this year’s event will be 40 Under 40 Distinguished Alumnus Rich MacKeigan, regional manager of SMG, overseeing Van Andel Arena, DeVos Performance Hall and DeVos Place.
MacKeigan was a member of the Business Journal’s 40 Under 40 classes in 2002, 2005 and 2007.
The event will feature food, drinks and pre-show entertainment by the Grand Rapids-based band Hannah Rose and The GravesTones.
General admission tickets to the 21-and-older event are $50. Group general admission tickets, for four or more people, are $40 per person.
New this year is a premium ticket package, $79, which includes a general admission party ticket, plus a one-year print and digital Grand Rapids Business Journal subscription, including the annual Book of Lists — a $109 value.
Tickets are available online.
