A Grand Rapids car dealer has acquired a dealership group on the state’s east side.

Fox Motors announced last week the addition of Fox Ann Arbor, the company’s first venture in Ann Arbor.

Fox Ann Arbor, formerly Ann Arbor Automotive, includes three dealerships: Fox Ann Arbor Acura; Fox Ann Arbor Hyundai; and Fox Ann Arbor Nissan.

“We’ve been looking for opportunities to grow Fox Motors in Michigan, so when Doug Fox of Ann Arbor Automotive reached out, it was a great fit,” Fox Motors Chairman and CEO Dan DeVos said. “We’ll be carrying three automotive brands that are familiar to us and that we are pleased to represent in Ann Arbor.”

Fox Ann Arbor will be run by Division Director Jerry Moore and General Manager Andrew Serum.

All three dealerships have new and pre-owned showrooms and service departments.

Fox Motors plans to invest in building and service equipment, exteriors and landscaping and at the three locations. Fox Ann Arbor Hyundai will see a significant investment in renovations in 2019.
