Cascade Engineering has announced the promotion of Mark Miller to president of the Cascade Engineering Family of Companies. He will focus on CE manufacturing, including CK Technologies, Automotive Americas and Europe, Cascade Cart Solutions, CapturIt, Commercial Products and Noble Polymers.

Miller also will lead the manufacturing, engineering and finance teams, and will continue to report directly to company founder, chairman and CEO Fred Keller.

Miller most recently was president of CK Technologies, group vice president of the Transportation Group and chief strategy officer for all the Cascade companies.

Under Miller, CK Technologies focused on developing and commercializing components, large-part systems and related processes for the commercial truck and bus industry. CE specializes in plastic parts to reduce weight and cost of vehicle exteriors, interiors and engine compartments.

Miller also has led the integration of sustainable business practices throughout CKT’s operations, which maintained profitability during the recent global recession.

“Mark, as leader of CKT, led the company through significant growth, leading to our recent expansion into Texas,” said Keller. “He is respected by his peers and exemplifies all the traits we look for in a leader. I am thrilled to congratulate Mark on this well-deserved promotion and I am confident he will do a great job in leading Cascade to new levels of excellence.”

Miller is a 25-year veteran of the transportation industry with particular experience in injection molding, painting and electroplating at the major OEMs in both the commercial truck and automotive sectors.

Prior to joining CKT in 2006, he held a number of leadership positions within the Tier I automotive supply sector for more than 15 years. Miller began his career with Ford in finance after working as an injection molding press operator in college.

Keller will remain chairman and CEO and retain responsibility for new business and technology development, as well as for Cascade Renewable Energy.
