A chicken fast-food chain may be opening another location in the area.
Chick-fil-A is considering establishing a restaurant in Grand Rapids at 5525 28th St. SE, according to Cascade Township.
The Cascade board is scheduled to vote on approving the project at its Aug. 14 meeting.
The last tenant to use the building was Romano’s Macaroni Grill before it closed in 2017.
The 6,166-square-foot building on the 1.92-acre property is listed for sale by Bradley Company for $1.8 million.
This would be Chick-fil-A’s sixth restaurant in West Michigan and fourth in Grand Rapids.
