Two local neighborhood and business associations are revving up for a classic car show.
The Creston Business Association and Creston Neighborhood Association will host the 11th annual Creston Days Car Show from 11 a.m.-8 p.m., Saturday, Sept. 12.
Rezervoir Lounge presents the car show, which features a variety of cars ranging from classic, antique and special interest cars to motorcycles, hot rods, imports and custom cars. Fifteen people’s choice plaques will be awarded, along with five sponsor’s choice plaques. Awards will be given out at 2:30 p.m.
Live music, children’s activities and a Founders Brewing Co. beer tent also will be present. The tent will pour beer from noon-8 p.m. It’s the second year the Creston Neighborhood Association has hosted the Founders tent.
Live music will be provided by Reely Keely, Ralston Bowles and Great Notion.
People interested in showing vehicles at the event can register on the website or contact Laurie Williams at STAR Collision CARSTAR, (616) 364-6222. Pre-registration is $17 with a shirt, or $10 without, and day of registration without a shirt is $15.
The first 100 registered vehicles will receive a dash plaque and a goody bag.
