A college in the region is hosting a job fair that’s open to the community.

More than 40 employers will be at Muskegon Community College from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on March 27 at Collegiate Hall, at 221 S. Quarterline Rd.

Employers are looking to fill many entry-level positions, as well as positions that require a bachelor’s degree or higher.

Heidi Romero, career services and transfer coordinator at MCC, said the college has been hosting two fairs per year, one in the fall and one in the spring, for more than 10 years to offer students and the public a “one-stop shop” to the variety of jobs.

The event is free.

Participants are asked to bring resumes and dress appropriately for interviewing.
