A local communications firm has expanded its leadership team.

Grand Rapids-based Williams Group, or Wg, has appointed Meghan Kraley and Chea Jackson as new partners.

They join President Bob Tobin and Mary Command, chief financial officer, on the leadership team.

“Williams Group operates with a 50-year horizon in mind, always looking ahead and working to set our clients and business up for long-term success,” said Tobin, who became a Wg partner 35 years ago. “Meghan and Chea each bring distinct skills and experience that keep us future-focused. Mary and I are thrilled to have them join us as partners, and our entire company is excited about their leadership and the new possibilities it brings.”

Kraley has been working at Williams Group since 2012. She leads engagements with nonprofits and foundations, including The James Irvine Foundation, College Futures Foundation, the Linked Learning Alliance and others.

“Wg is a special agency,” Kraley said. “Our clients are leaders in their fields, and it’s a privilege to work alongside them on issues that matter. And our people are the best I’ve ever known — smart, dedicated individuals who care about their work and community.”

Jackson joined Williams Group last year with a decade worth of experience in the marketing and public relations sector to work for corporate clients such as Amway. She also serves on the marketing strategy team for the Ronald McDonald House of Western Michigan.

“Williams Group is unlike any organization I’ve worked with or for,” Jackson said. “From the commitment to collaboration, kindness and quality to the highly strategic approach for each and every project. I’m looking forward to working with the partners and all Wg associates to build on the momentum of the last four decades and am excited to see what we can accomplish together over the years to come.”
