A communications firm has relocated to a new space downtown.

8THIRTYFOUR Integrated Communications said yesterday it will be celebrating its 11-year anniversary tomorrow at its new location in Clearwater Place, at 1430 Monroe Ave. NW.

The firm was previously located in a 1,700-square-foot office on Grand Rapids’ West Side, at 560 5th St. NW.

“We love to gather with clients and friends and are very excited to welcome everyone to our new office,” said Kim Bode, founder and principal and founder, 8THIRTYFOUR.

8THIRTYFOUR moved in its new leased space in September.

The space has two levels with offices, a conference room and collaboration and casual spaces.

The new space is intended to accommodate future growth, said Sarah Abel, managing director, 8THIRTYFOUR.

8THIRTYFOUR is working with a variety of industries and its clientele has grown, which warranted the relocation.

The firm has nine employees.

“Growth for us isn’t measured by number of employees, but by the clients and geographic regions we serve,” Bode said.

“The communications field changes constantly and rapidly. We hire the best talent who is creative, hardworking and understands the importance of data in all that we do. Our clients never wonder what we are doing, or if it is working.”

The building is owned and operated by Grand Rapids-based Ed DeVries Properties.

8THIRTYFOUR worked with Grand Rapids-based North Town Real Estate on the lease deal.
