Construction firm adds to team

A local construction firm has hired seven new employees.

Grand Rapids-based Triangle Associates has hired Jolene Rosser, Don Buczkowski, John Bellows, Pat Battaglia, Kelsey Ford, Laura Freel, Terri Ashmore and Christina Cummings.

Rosser

Rosser is the firm’s new marketing director and will help Triangle’s market segment leaders develop business plans, presentation strategies and sales pursuit structure and style.

Rosser will also manage the company’s website and help clients with fundraising and bond campaign strategies.

In her career, Rosser has been creative director at Rockford Construction, owner and art director at IFly Design Studio and marketing design manager at US Signal Company.

She graduated from Ferris State University with a degree in visual communication.

Buczkowski

As architectural production manager, Buczkowski will interpret and collaborate on conceptual designs, as well as review and redline drawings.

He previously worked at GMB Architecture and Hobbs & Black Architects as a job captain. He was also a senior architectural technician at Beta Design.

Buczkowski has a degree in architectural drafting from Ferris State University.

Bellows

Bellows is a new site project manager in the Detroit area working on senior living projects, managing the projects conduct and performance.

Bellows is also involved in contract management, pre-construction activities and scheduling and execution.

He has been a project manager in Charlotte, North Carolina with GATC Contracting and Chicago’s SYTE Corp.

Bellows has a construction management degree from Ferris State University.

Battaglia

Joining Bellows with the senior living Detroit team, Battaglia will be a site superintendent, responsible for site mobilization, safety, site control and subcontractor management.

Prior to Triangle, Battaglia was managing director at American Classical Academies and partner and director of facilities at Charter Consultants.

He is certified in construction estimating, blueprint reading and construction law.

Ford

As a marketing coordinator, Ford will assist the firm’s business development team with proposals, company promotions, events and advertising.

She was a senior account manager at Chicago’s Milestone Internet Marketing and event coordinator with Travel Plus Social Good.

Ford has an advertising and promotion degree from Western Michigan University.

Ashmore and Freel

Ashmore and Freel join Triangle as executive administrators and will support the firm’s chairman and CEO, SVP and VP of business development.

Ashmore was recently executive assistant to the regional president of Fifth Third Bank and holds a degree in business and human resource management from University of Phoenix.

Freel recently served with The Windquest Group as development associate and executive assistant to the VP of development and executive assistant to chairman. She has a degree in child development from Central Michigan University.

Cummings

Cummings joins Triangle as project administrator and will assist project managers with pre- and post-construction work, including subcontracts and purchase orders.

Cummings has worked with both Bouma Construction and J&L Industrial Supply.

She has an arts and sciences degree from Grand Rapids Community College.
