A construction firm in the region has a new director of human resources.

Kalamazoo-based CSM Group said it has promoted Kristin Kremer to the role.

Most recently, Kremer was the firm’s manager of organizational development and diversity.

She joined CSM Group in 2006 as a project coordinator.

In her new role, Kremer will develop, organize, implement and manage the company’s HR operations, while also helping to create an engaging work environment.

“Throughout her tenure at CSM, particularly serving in direct and strategic-level client support roles, Kristin has developed a comprehensive understanding of how we execute our mission in service to our clients,” said Mark Roys, COO, CSM Group.

“This insight, coupled with her compassionate leadership approach will serve to sustain the culture and talent we embrace.”

Kremer also serves on the board of directors of the Great Lakes Women’s Business Council.

She holds a bachelor’s degree from Western Michigan University.
