Cost-recovery firm expands to new HQ

A cost-recovery firm has expanded into a 31,000-square-foot headquarters in the area.

SpendMend is the newest tenant at Cascade Office Park in Cascade Township, at 2680 Horizon Dr. SE.

SpendMend will occupy the entire building, allowing the firm additional space to continue to expand as business grows and additional employees are hired.

The firm moved from a 6,315-square-foot space in Kentwood, at 946 52nd St. SE.

“Cascade Office Park was very attractive to us, as it had the parking availability we needed for our employees and is very close to many restaurants, retail shops and hotels,” said Roger Meyer, CFO, SpendMend.

The 180,000-square-foot, multi-tenant office park consists of six buildings.

Kirk Driesenga and Erin Peterson with the Hinman’s Grand Rapids office represented the landlord, Cascade Office Park II, LLC.

Doug Taatjes and Hillary Taatjes Woznick with NAI Wisinski of West Michigan represented the tenant, SpendMend.

“Hinman partnered with us to structure a long-term lease that was in line with our growth objectives to meet our current and future space needs,” Meyer said.
