Country club opens gastropub

A private country club in the region has opened its new gastropub to the public.

The long-standing Muskegon golf course, located at 2801 Lakeshore Dr., recently re-launched its private dining room area as the contemporary-styled Se4sons Gastropub.

Se4sons Gastropub is owned and run by the same ownership group that owns and operates the Muskegon Country Club.

The roughly 3,000-square-foot space is divided between a main dining room, which can accommodate about 95 guests, a bar and a patio that offers a view of Muskegon Lake.


The menu is sourced from local farms and features shared plates, soups, salads and entrées: Fish Monger’s Wife Whitewash; Harrieta Hills Trout; Chili Hanger Steak; black garlic risotto; shrimp linguine and more.

Se4sons' drink menu features beer, wine and cocktails.


The head chef at Se4sons Gatropub is Sean Maar, who is a Baker College graduate and the former chef at the country club’s private dining room.

Previously, he was chef at Spring Lake Country Club.
