A craft spirits maker is expanding its education program for students of the industry.

Full-flavored experience

New Holland Artisan Spirits’ pub distiller Sean Stark announced last week the creation of the 110 Proof TinMan Whiskey Lab, a five day private whiskey-making class.

The class allows students to go through the entire grain-to-glass process with Stark, selecting the grain, distilling and aging the whiskey.

Following the aging process, students get to take home three gallons of the hand-crafted whiskey.

The class is meant for those looking to see the full craft-whiskey experience or for one-on-one tutoring for those interested in working in the growing industry.

The fee for the one-on-one class is $2,950.

Cocktails

New Holland Artisan Spirits, a division of New Holland Brewing Co., is also rolling out Cocktail 101, a class for novice and intermediate cocktail makers looking to take the next step.

The first class is Sept. 25 and taught by bartenders and Stark.

Tickets for Cocktail 101 classes are $45.

Day-long workshop

New Holland continues to offer its original TinMan Distilling Workshop, a day-long experience for students to learn a quick overview of the whiskey, rum, vodka and gin-making process.

The fee for the workshop is $350.

New Holland is selling tickets to its classes online.
