D.A. Blodgett-St. John’s board of directors is undergoing a change of faces.
The 125-year-old, family and children’s services agency’s board of directors is changing leadership and making new additions to its board.
David Sebastian, the former vice president of the nonprofit’s board, is now the new board president.
Sebastian, director of the Sebastian Foundation, an arts and education program that received the Kathryn Timmer Literacy Award in 2011, takes over as president for Pat Geary, an attorney at Smith Haughey Rice and Roegge.
Board member Charles Lott, senior vice president of commercial lending at Wells Fargo, will step up and fill Sebastian’s former role as board vice president.
Board member Jim Weaver, managing partner at Alticor Corporate Enterprises, will replace Don Hamilton as the board’s new treasurer, and board member Chris Visner will replace Tony Gates as the board’s new secretary.
The board also recently announced the addition of two new members: Sonali Allen, compliance and community development officer at Mercantile Bank, and Sister Maureen Geary, O.P., prioress of the Grand Rapids Dominicans.
