An OB/GYN doctor is opening a membership-based midlife, menopause and sexual health wellness clinic.

Dr. Diana Bitner plans to open True Women’s Health this May in Grand Rapids, at 2144 East Paris Ave.

The clinic seeks to provide personalized, one-on-one care, in addition to primary care, for women who are suffering unnecessarily through menopause and midlife.

True Women’s Health patients opt in to one of two prepaid annual plans based on varying levels of services. In many cases, services provided may be reimbursed by insurance providers, the practice said.

The model is meant to limit patient load to ensure Bitner and her staff can provide a high level of one-on-one availability.

“We want to educate women and provide a home where they feel comfortable opening up to a doctor in a more relaxed, focused environment,” Bitner said. “Each patient will leave with an individualized wellness plan personalized to help them achieve their goals throughout their midlife journey.”

New patients can register now online.

Bitner has more than 25 years of experience as a women’s health provider in West Michigan. She has a menopause practitioner certification from the North American Menopause Society. In 2015, the organization named her Menopause Practitioner of the Year.

“I’ve walked side-by-side to help many women navigate the next phase of their lives,” Bitner said. “It can be a mysterious time, and every woman’s journey is unique.”

Dr. Bitner founded True Women’s Health along with Allyn Lebster, CEO, and Mark Guzicki, chief business officer.
