A hospitality management company is holding a job fair for a downtown hotel opening this spring.

AHC+Hospitality is filling front-desk, housekeeping, food, beverage and other positions for the 130-room AC Hotel Grand Rapids Downtown, which is scheduled to open in May.

Interested candidates are required to complete an online application in advance.

The event is this Wednesday from 1-4 p.m. at 20 Monroe Live downtown, at 11 Ottawa Ave. NW. Registration is at 1 p.m., followed by a group activity at 2 p.m. and a social hour at 3 p.m.

Attendees are instructed to park in the JW Marriott Grand Rapids garage, at 235 Louis St. NW, and bring parking tickets for validation.

AC Hotel

AC Hotel Grand Rapids Downtown will be located at 50 Monroe Ave. NW, according to a previous Business Journal report.

The $40-million, 130-room AC Hotel is going inside a 127-year old warehouse purchased by Grand Rapids-based CWD Real Estate Investment in 2012.

The hotel will feature “minimalist design details” and the building’s original brick façade, AHC said.

The property will offer tapas-style dining and a “beverage program.”
