A local engineering firm has added four new hires.

Fleis & VandenBrink has added four new staff members at its headquarters in Grand Rapids, including three in its construction services group.

New F&V construction technicians include Jeff Catlin, Noah Lafferty and Josh Parsons. Engineer-in-training Peter Tierney, a former intern, joined the West Michigan municipal services group, as well.

Catlin is an accomplished AutoCAD and environmental specialist. He has nearly three decades of experience, including 10 years of construction observation of sewer and water developments.

Lafferty has several years of MDOT road construction experience. He will join Parsons in focusing on municipal road and utility projects.

Tierney will provide civil engineering support for the design of municipal, private and institutional projects. He also will be working on infrastructure, utility and transportation.

F&V is an employee-owned, multi-disciplined civil engineering and architecture firm and a one-stop shop for infrastructure planning, design and construction.

It is headquartered in Grand Rapids and has eight other offices throughout Michigan and Indiana.
