Seven West Michigan executives have been named finalists for the EY Entrepreneur of the Year award.
EY, a global accounting and advisory firm, said yesterday it selected 29 Michigan and Northwest Ohio finalists for the 2017 award.
Regional award
The awards program recognizes entrepreneurs who are excelling in innovation, financial performance and personal commitment to their businesses and communities. The regional finalists were selected by a panel of independent judges. EY will announce the regional award winners at a gala on June 21 at the Detroit Institute of Arts.

Regional award winners are eligible for consideration for the Entrepreneur of the Year national program. Award winners in several categories, as well as the Entrepreneur of the Year Overall National Award winner, will be announced at the Entrepreneur of the Year National Awards gala in Palm Springs, California on Nov. 18.
