The International Wine, Beer & Food Festival is happening downtown next week.

Produced by Grand Rapids-based ShowSpan, attendees can sample from more than 1,200 wines, beers, hard ciders and spirits and food from local restaurants.

The 11th-annual event includes culinary demonstrations, tasting sessions, cocktail workshops, live music and more.

The festival is from 6-9 p.m. Nov. 15, 4-10 p.m. Nov. 16 and 2-10 p.m. Nov. 17 at DeVos Place, at 303 Monroe Ave. NW.

There are several ticket options available for purchase online, including a $40 three-day pass. Single-day admission is $15 Thursday and is $20 the other nights.

Admission includes one complimentary sampling glass, wine and beer tasting sessions, seminars in the Grand Gallery rooms and Welsh Lobby and Meijer Food Stage culinary demonstrations.

All other food and beverage samples require various numbers of sampling tickets, available at the festival for 50 cents each.

Tickets for pairing sessions hosted by multiple restaurants several times throughout the festival are also available online.

Attendees must be 21 or older.
