Gun Lake Casino names executive chef

Nenad Stefanovic was appointed the new executive chef of Gun Lake Casino, effective immediately.

Stefanovic, who has 25 years of national and international culinary experience, is responsible for operations and oversight of the culinary direction at Gun Lake Casino. He will play an integral role in the development and creation of menus at all existing restaurants and lead the reveal of Gun Lake Casino’s dining expansion, which is scheduled to open in 2021.

Stefanovic began his career as a chef at the Bluezoo Lounge, located at Walt Disney World Swan in Orlando, Florida. He later accepted a position at InterContinental Mark Hopkins hotel in San Francisco. After four years at the hotel, Stefanovic went on to join the Southern California’s award-winning Morongo Casino Resort & Spa team, where he served as the executive chef over the property’s 11 restaurants and bars.

Stefanovic has a degree in hospitality management.
