A new public restaurant at Muskegon Country Club will open its doors this week.

RedWater Restaurant Group said the grand opening of Lake Bluff Grille will take place at 5:30 p.m. Wednesday, June 15, following a ribbon cutting ceremony with the Muskegon Chamber of Commerce.

RedWater purchased the country club at 2801 Lakeshore Drive last summer and has been working to open the new restaurant and make renovations to the club’s event venue.

Lake Bluff Grille now features a large wraparound bar, wine wall and an expanded covered deck for outdoor dining. The menu will offer New American-style cuisine with various selections of appetizers, sandwiches and entrees.

Guests can enjoy an interactive dining experience by cooking select menu items using 500-degree volcanic fire rocks, a RedWater Restaurants favorite.

“Lake Bluff Grille will transform the dining experience at Muskegon Country Club by celebrating the beautiful waterfront scenery and the deliciousness of contemporary American fare,” said Leanne Stoll, director of marketing for RedWater. “With brilliant views of Muskegon Lake and the endless green of our golf course, we hope that Lake Bluff Grille will bring new life and new flavors to the historic Muskegon Country Club.”

The restaurant also will host live music every Thursday and Friday during the summer.

Hours of operation will be 4-9 p.m. Wednesday-Sunday. Stoll said the restaurant will work to add more hours and lunch service as soon as possible.
