Gerald R. Ford International Airport is adding a pair of domestic destinations for travelers.
Las Vegas-based Allegiant will begin offering seasonal flights to New Orleans and Jacksonville, Florida, according to the airline today.
The route to Louis Armstrong New Orleans International Airport (MSY) begins on Oct. 3, and the route to Jacksonville International Airport (JAX) begins on Oct. 4.
The new routes will operate twice weekly.
Allegiant is offering temporary one-way fares from $59 for the new routes for flights purchased by June 19 for travel by Feb. 11.
With the additions, Allegiant will serve 11 cities from Ford airport.
Ford airport will serve 31 destinations through six airlines.
