October was another record-breaking month for Gerald R. Ford International Airport.
With 284,710 passengers, up 15.7 percent from last year, this was the airport’s busiest-ever October.
The airport has had record-breaking totals every month this year and has seen growth in 63 of the last 70 months.
Several new non-stop flights from Grand Rapids have been added this year.
“We continue to work on adding more air service, working with our airline partners to serve the destinations West Michigan travelers want to visit,” said Tara Hernandez, marketing and communications director, Ford airport.
“Our work isn’t done, and we only expect more big things in 2019.”
