Furniture maker names VP of marketing

A furniture maker has named a woman with years of experience marketing brands in the industry its new vice president of marketing and product development.

Nucraft in Grand Rapids said this week that it has named Sheri Cuccarese to the newly created position.

Cuccarese will be responsible for leading new product development and management, as well as developing and executing programs to promote the Nucraft brand and bolster market growth.

“Sheri’s deep knowledge and experience in the office furniture industry will help Nucraft bring new value to our customers, designers and channel partners,” said Matt Schad, CEO, Nucraft.

Cuccarese said she looks forward to working with the Nucraft team.

“Nucraft has an amazing reputation of superior service levels and well designed, innovative products,” she said.

Marketing experience

She has more than 25 years of experience in senior leadership positions in the areas of marketing, product development and sales. Those positions have been within and outside of the furniture industry.

Most recently, Cuccarese lead a national sales team at Rain Bird, a maker of irrigation products.

Previously, she served in several marketing roles in the furniture industry: director of marketing and product development at Haworth; director of marketing communications at Herman Miller; and brand manager at Izzy Design.

She holds a B.S. in organizational behavior from Kent State University.

Nucraft

Nucraft focuses on creating products for conference rooms, private offices, reception areas and training spaces, according to its website.
