The Association of Chamber of Commerce Executives recently awarded Laura Traxler of the Grand Rapids Chamber of Commerce with its Dana Ketterling Lifetime Sales Achievement Award.
The award highlights the new dollar value of personal sales — 500 transactions or $175,000 in sales.
Traxler, who serves as director of membership at the Grand Rapids Chamber, placed fifth overall in the dues income category for dollar value of new personal sales.
“Our team has worked strategically to cultivate deep engagement with the businesses and organizations invested in the work of the Grand Rapids Chamber,” Traxler said. “Our members recognize that their investment plays a critical role in building and maintaining the business ecosystem and, in turn, helps support a thriving and prosperous West Michigan for all.”
Four categories — over $1.5 million, $500,000 to $1.5 million, $200,000 to $499,000 and under $200,000 — correlate to different sizes of chambers of commerce based on annual revenue from membership dues.
To be considered for the award, sales professionals must submit quarterly sales figures to ACCE.
The Dana Ketterling Lifetime Sales Achievement Award is ACCE’s career recognition program for sales professionals. It is presented in memory of Dana Ketterling, ACCE’s resource development officer.
