Grand Rapids to hold virtual town hall

Grand Rapids City Manager Mark Washington and Mayor Rosalynn Bliss will hold a virtual town hall Thursday on the state of the city’s budget and services in response to COVID-19.

The town hall will take place from 5-6 p.m. on the city’s Facebook page. The town hall also will be shown live in English on Comcast Channel 26 and YouTube and in both English and Spanish.

Residents may submit questions during the event in three ways:

Washington presented the proposed fiscal year 2021 budget to the city commission Tuesday during its committee of the whole meeting.
