A woman with more than 25 years of experience working in the local community is the new chief financial officer at the Grand Rapids Area Chamber of Commerce.
The chamber said this month that it has named Shari Dick to the leadership role.
Most recently, Dick served as the manager of financial reporting at Spectrum Health Systems.
Previously, she served as the vice president of finance and HR at the Grand Rapids Symphony and operational performance manager at Herman Miller, where she worked for 21 years.
“To have the opportunity to give back to the community is rewarding and fulfilling for me,” Dick said. “The last few years have proven to be a valuable learning experience, and I am pleased to add my expertise to the chamber’s team.”
Rick Baker, the chamber’s president and CEO, said the downtown nonprofit is “looking forward to Shari’s dynamic leadership.”
