Do you have questions about how Obamacare impacts your business?

This year’s annual Health Care Summit, produced by the Grand Rapids Area Chamber of Commerce, will aim to offer the local business community answers to some of the health care questions that have arisen in the past year.

The half-day event will be held on Nov. 14 in Grand Rapids at Thousand Oaks Golf Club, from 7:30-11:30 a.m.

The event will feature keynote presentations by Brian Peters, CEO of the Michigan Hospital Association, and Mary Bauman, an attorney with Miller Johnson.

Peters’ presentation is titled “The State of Health Care in Michigan: A Post-Election Debrief,” and Bauman’s presentation is titled “Health Care Reform: What Employers Should Be Planning For.”

The audience

The chamber expects more than 200 “community leaders, business owners, CEOs, presidents and human resource professionals” to attend for “an informative discussion,” according to the event’s web page.

“If you’re an employer with concerns about the rising health care costs or are interested in finding out more about the impact of federal health care reform on your businesses, then this event is for you,” the page says.

Registration and tickets

Tickets to the event cost $30 if a person registers before 5 p.m. on Nov. 12. The price rises to $40 afterward.
