Grand Rapids is 8th ‘best’ city for people with disabilities

Grand Rapids is one of the “best” cities in the country for people with disabilities.

WalletHub, a personal finance website, compared more than 180 of the most populated U.S. cities across 33 key measures of “disability friendliness.”

The data set includes categories such as wheelchair-accessible facilities per capita, rate of workers with disabilities and park accessibility.

Detroit, the only Michigan city in the ranking, ranks 138th.
