Grand Rapids is a decently fun place to live, according to a recent report.
Grand Rapids came in at No. 62 out of 182 cities in a ranking of the "Most Fun Cities in America" by WalletHub.
WalletHub compared the 182 cities across three key categories: entertainment and recreation; nightlife and parties; and costs.
The three categories were evaluated on 66 metrics, such as acres of parkland per capita, presence of music festivals and average beer price. Each metric was graded on a 100-point scale, with a score of 100 representing the "greatest number and variety of fun and cost-effective activities."
Grand Rapids achieved an overall score of 34.71. Grand Rapids ranks 82nd for entertainment, 69th for nightlife and 18th for cost.
