Grand Rapids Magazine has unveiled the winners of its 38th-annual Dining Awards, including the Restaurant of the Year.

The 2017 Restaurant of the Year award went to Grove, an upscale, farm-to-table restaurant at 919 Cherry St. SE in Grand Rapids’ East Hills neighborhood.

Grove, which opened in 2011, is part of Grand Rapids-based Essence Restaurant Group, and its head chef is Jeremy Paquin.

The restaurant serves dinner only Monday through Saturday and brunch on Sunday and is known for its extensive vegetarian, gluten-free and vegan options, as well as a wine list curated from all over the world.

Grand Rapids Magazine, a sister publication of the Grand Rapids Business Journal, named the 12 winners of its Dining Awards this week.
